Just a peak behind the scenes of the major leak this morning that almost drained the tank that serves the North East portion of our system.

Dear Members,

A contractor has struck our concrete water line near CR 4807. As a result, all members located past CR 4807 toward Lampasas will be without water.

This outage includes:

The north side of our system off North FM 116
The north and northeast side of our system, including areas along FM 580, CR 3220, and surrounding roads

This incident is expected to affect approximately 70% of our system, so any members currently without water are likely impacted by this leak.

At this time, we do not yet know the full extent of the damage. Our crews are assessing the situation and will begin repairs as soon as possible.
