Kempner Water Supply Corporation (KWSC) continues to supply water to our Members, City of Lampasas, and Salado Water Supply Corporation.  Another plant on Stillhouse Lake, Central Texas Water Supply Corporation (CTWSC) is completely down and not producing water.  There was no outage at our treatment plant just a stall in production while we waited for the turbidity to settle.  As you know, KWSC receives water from CTWSC and delivers it to Lampasas through our distribution system.  This supply to Lampasas is interrupted but KWSC is providing Lampasas water.  Our treatment plant on Lake Stillhouse is still being upgraded but will be more than adequate for high usage needs, once construction is complete.  We are currently taking emergency water from another supplier to supplement our plants production.  After recent rains, the lake has risen four feet so we are on the mend for getting more water at our source.  Over the course of the next two weeks the Executive Committee of the Board and Management will be looking at reducing Drought Restrictions.
